2019 Season

Hi Paul’s NASCAR Picks Peeps. Hope you have all enjoyed the last few months. So what is up for the upcoming NASCAR season? Let us know if you’d like to keep going with this. Anyone interested in managing it? Paul do you want to take back control? Jim and I are willing to give it another go if no one else puts their name in. And if there is enough interest from the group. Hi all ~. Ken and I won’t be participating this year. We purchased a camper last fall and plan on travelling LOT this spring and summer. We’ve had a lot of fun over the years with y’all in this group and it’s kind of sad to not be a part of it anymore. Everyone take care and we wish you all the best. Ken & Pammy Sue

Jim and I have decided to go ahead with this season - we hope most of you will join us.

Jim outlines the rules we have decided on for the upcoming season:

Competition model for 2019 adds DQs, alters inspection | NASCAR.com 

 

PNP will adopt NASCAR's single race points system for 2019. Points will be awarded for finishing position and for stage points, as we did last year-- no playoff points. However, if your chosen driver is disqualified, the PNP player will be awarded one point only, no stage points and no winner icon (i.e. a 'head'). Race win points will also be awarded to the PNP player picking the driver that finishes 17th (after all of the inspections/disqualifications become official) in honour of our 17th year.

 

Still seeking a link to all race results and will provide when available as the link through the ESPN/Jayski.com site has dissolved.

So sorry to hear that you won't be participating this year.  Perhaps you will stop by and say hello once in awhile and tell us about your travels!  And you are always welcome to come back!

I'm in (natch!) Sorry Ken and Pammy Sue won't be joining us, but wish them well on their travels...maybe they'll bump above the border from where they're at...no wall in our future (I don't think) LOL! Jim2
